Jenny Wren sleeps up to 3 people in 2 bedrooms; 1 double 4’6″ pocket sprung bed in one room and a 3’0″ single in the other. The double room has a built in wardrobe and cupboards with 2 bedside units with drawers. The single bedroom has a built in wardrobe and a tallboy with drawers.

Linen is included and beds are made up for your arrival. One hand and one bath towel per person is provided along with tea towels.

The front door opens on to the fitted kitchen which is very well equipped and briefly includes the following:

- Double oven and ceramic hob
- Microwave
- Undercounter fridge with small freezer box (large enough for a couple of loaves of bread)
- Washing machine
- Hand blender
- 4 slice toaster, kettle

Of course all crockery, pots and pans etc are provided too (+ iron & ironing board)! There will also be washing up liquid, cloth and sponge.

The kitchen opens on to the pretty lounge which is furnished with a leather sofa, tub chair, small round dining table and chairs. There is a LCD TV with built in freeview, and a DVD player (a selection of DVD’s to watch too). The window seat is great to sit on and look at the view.

There are plenty of tourist information leaflets as well as a ‘welcome folder’ with useful information about the bungalow and the area.

The shower room is fully tiled and has a shower cubicle with triton shower, WC and sink with vanity unit.

Outside, the sunny patio is furnished with a good table and benches set, with backrests, where you can sit and enjoy the stunning scenery. It is a perfect location to relax and unwind. There are lawns in front of the patio.

Guests will receive a welcome pack on arrival which includes a pint of milk, tea coffee and sugar.

One well behaved dog is welcome at no extra cost (but not on furniture please!)

There is a small shop at the nearby touring park which is open in the summer season.

Parking and Transportation

There is an allocated parking space at the side of the property. Further parking is available at the bottom of the site. Lots of buses run to Torquay, Paignton and Brixham from the main A3022 which is about 3/4 mile away from the bungalow. The steam train runs from Churston station to Paignton or Kingswear which is also 3/4 mile away

Pricing

Jenny Wren is available to rent on a weekly basis from 3pm on a Friday until 10am the following Friday. However, changeover days are flexible between November and March.

Prices from £225 to £450 per week. Please contact me for exact prices for the week/s you require or download the price list.

A low deposit of £75 per week booked is payable where the holiday is booked more than six weeks from the holiday date. Otherwise total payment is required upon booking. Once your deposit has been paid, the remaining balance of the rental is payable 4 weeks before the holiday start.

Short breaks of minimum 4 nights are available from November to the end of March each year.

Payments via paypal accepted but will incur a 4% charge.’

Please note that electricity, bed linen, towels and tea towels are included in the price.

We don’t charge any booking fees or ask for any breakage deposits; we expect our guests to treat our property with respect, and we also know that sometimes accidents happen. Should anything get broken, please let us know so that we can arrange to replace it.

River View has 2 bedrooms and sleeps upto 3 people in one double(4’6″) and one single (3’0″bed) bedroom

River View is an attractive end bungalow in a good sized plot. There is a picket fenced patio area at the front which extends down 2 steps to further fenced patio area at the side. There is a spacious lawned garden area at the side with bench.
